Driving in Norway: Oslo Ring 3 & E18 Operatunnelen

In this video you can drive along on Oslo's northern Ring road (Ring 3) and central ring (E18) in Norway. It's not a standard route anybody would generally take, I just drove it because I wanted to see more of the urban roads around Oslo including the Operatunnelen.

Traffic on the Ring 3 to Smestad is quite dense and as you can see there are many exits. At the end near the neighborhood of Lilleaker most of the Ring 3 / Rv150 is underground until it merges with the E18. I was confused at first because there is no way to take an exit in the direction of Oslo Sentrum at this junction. That's how unusual the route is that I took I guess. So I drove around to get back on the E18 towards Oslo..

The E18 is the main motorway between Oslo and Kristiansand in the South. Southeast of Oslo the E18 continues to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Impressive about the E18 at Oslo is that it passes right under the heart of the city via the more than 4 kilometers long Operatunnelen, which includes the junction with the E6.
