2022 Norway Chess is a 10-player Round-robin tournament, held from the 30th of May to the 11th of June in Norway.

If a classical game is drawn, the players play one rapid Armageddon game. In an Armageddon game, black starts with less time on the clock than white, but wins the game even if it is drawn.

Time control is 120 minutes for the entire game with a 10-second increment, beginning from move 40.
Time control for the Armageddon game is 10 minutes for white and 7 minutes for black for the entire game with a 1-second increment starting from move 40.
