The first AI4Copernicus Open Call date is approaching and AI4Copernicus launches a series of info webinars, where experts from the corresponding domains of the project like Energy, Security, Health and Agriculture, will provide useful information and tips concerning the Open Calls submission process. More specifically, four sessions will be held virtually, starting in May until September, with a duration of 30 minutes, each time in regard to a different domain.

The first session was held on 31 May 2021. The invited speaker was Mr Richard Hall, from AI4Copernicus partner company Equinor, who elaborated on the domain of Energy.

Some of the topics that are discussed during the sessions are:

- Where is the demand and how can we improve production (using AI and Copernicus data)
- Ideas and proposed solutions
- Find out how to apply for the AI4Copernicus funding
- Successful proposal applications
