Avon Indiana | My First Experience With Indianapolis Indiana... Avon, Indiana was truly my first experience with travelling to Indianapolis and made an impression on me. I've lived in Indianapolis since 1997 but made many trips to it in years prior. Avon, Indiana is one of the first places if not the first place I visited in the Indianapolis area. I still have memories of those visits. Avon, Indiana isn't a large town but was certainly smaller in the early 90's. However, at first glance, you might think Avon, Indiana is one of the busiest places around Indianapolis. The reason you might think this is because Rockville Road or U.S. 36 runs right through the heart of Avon, Indiana. But, you don't have to travel far off that road to find a very peaceful and relatively inexepensive suburb of Indianapolis.

In this video I talk about my first experiences with Avon Indiana a little and what a place like Avon has to offer.
