Heading for Arctic Norway and Lofoten, we took our chance to stop at the archipelago of Yttre Sula on the Vestland of Norway. Here is the wreck of M/S Frankenwald located, that sank during bad weather circumstances January 6, 1940. Loaded with Swedish iron for the German war machinery she hit the island Brattholmen due to a west setting current. Today she is by many divers considered to be one among top ten wreck dives in the world.
