His portrayal of the human image is empathic, ennobling, and psychologically penetrating. ITerz's figure compositions synthesize the characteristics of the past masters with a selective eye for the present, suffusing elements of naturalism and romanticism to blend contemporary techniques with those of the past.ITerz showed an enthusiasm for art at a young age, taking art classes at the Museum of Modern Art at the age of four.ITerz's work is included in public and private collections around the world,developed a love of drawing as a child, I knew at an early age, art would be a part of my life. I grew up traveling the world and living in faraway lands with my family. I visited museums across the world, and soaked in Immersed in expressive and Oil painting I was fortunate enough to travel.with an eye towards texture and abstraction. My paintings have a minimal and literal Immersed in expressive and Oil painting element,while I try to capture and convey the textures of life. The experience of painting is a great escape from the complexities of life, and I always find myself creating an abstract scene of peacefulness, relaxation, and calmness. . I’m drawn to water, the sea, the ocean, and these feelings show up in my abstract Immersed in expressive and .I paint with oils and wax medium, on canvas, gessoed hardboard, and paper. I’m able to create multiple layers of translucent colors, and through the process of scratching, distressing, and dissolving, I’m able to capture depth and feeling within the painting. With each painting, I start with no end game. I allow the painting to develop and see where it leads me. The mystery of life has always drawn me to People & nature.It has so captivated met that I Feel an inner compulsion to draw my heart out.There is a bubbling chatter going on in my head which I must capture on canvas in shapes and hues that will draw people, like a magnet to revel in its beauty. So I draw communing with my soul and letting my fingers glide in the direction it must go.The themes are not preconceived, but just waiting to be born... I am a painter who writes in between pictures. I write poetry (occasionally) and short stories and am currently working on a novel for my own amusement.
I have always been fascinated by people, their character and the individuality of their faces, which has led to my passionate interest in portraits and figurative work. My nudes are real people, not generic or idealized. I try to capture the essence of a person, their uniqueness and the way they express themselves in their body. My other fascination is with the drama of light, and the way it shapes and changes objects, enhances composition, and creates mood. I work in a number of mediums, including pastel, charcoal and conte, pen and ink, gouache, watercolour, acrylics, pencil, and mixed media, and am currently painting in Oils. I find that changing and experimenting with mediums keeps me fresh and open to learning. My style is contemporary whilst firmly rooted in realism. However, painting is really what I live for and is how I define and express myself. My work is in private collections in , My art developed out of these experiences,
