Norway Chess is a 6-player double round-robin tournament held in Stavanger, Norway, between September 7th and September 17th.

A win in the classical section is worth 3 points, and a loss 0. If the game is drawn, an Armageddon game will be played - the winner gets 1.5 points and the loser 1 point.

Time control for classical is 120 minutes for all moves, with a 10-second increment starting from move 41.


Time control for Armageddon is 10 minutes for white and 7 minutes for black, with a 1-second increment from move 41.
