FIRST EVER Freshwater European Spearfishing Championship Lake Puruvesi

In August 2022 the very first CMAS European Spearfishing Championships were held in Lake Puruvesi (25km from Russia!) in Finland. I was lucky to be captain of the British team which consisted of Aareon@skyespearfishing5174 Scott & Feena. We had never competed in freshwater before so all the fish were new to us. We had four days to scout together, learn the fish and come up with a plan for the competition days.
