This weeks video features commentary on why minimalism for me is about freedom to travel. Along with practicing moderation. That is, attempting to live a balanced lifestyle so that occasionally we may enjoy and appreciate luxuries more. A luxury in my opinion should be just that. An occasional luxurious treat and not an everyday occurence. Being a minimalist allows me to differentiate luxury from the everyday and appreciate it more when I experience it.

The video includes a cabin tour. Queen Mary 2 ship tour. A taster of the food on board. The dress code and wardrobe/ outfit tour of what I wore in Norway and whilst onhoard - whilst packing minimally.

Then commentary on my observations of the culture in Norway in the cities and towns of Bergen, Olden, Alesund & Stavanger.

Throughout the video I also discuss climate change and carbon emissions which become more apparent on a visit to a glacier region such as Norway. Specifically how global warming has impacted the region by global excess carbon emissions. I note that whilst planet earth has its own natural carbon cycles controlled via volcanic eruptions our added carbon emissions have created excess strain. Especially given that the sun grows ever older and closer to earth. What was once a balancing carbon cycle is not anymore with the added strain of commerce and consumerism. If ever there was a reason to be minimalist and evidence for that fact. The changing environment is just that.
