Bergen is a city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It's surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colorful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a center of the Hanseatic League's trading empire. The Fløibanen Funicular goes up Fløyen Mountain for panoramic views and hiking trails. The Edvard Grieg House is where the renowned composer once live.

Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. The municipality covers 465 square kilometres (180 sq mi) and is on the peninsula of Bergenshalvøy.

My name is Tejas. I would like to share from my own experience which I had in the year 2019, some tips while visiting to Scandic countries,ie. Denmark, Stockholm, Norway, Finland.
1. Most of the transactions are carried through debit or credit cards. So try to keep 2 to 3 cards while on trip. Even while buying tickets for light rail, bus etc. debit or credit cards are preferred at ticket kiosks.
2. All the countries prefer their own currency, so try to keep some Danish, Swedish and Norwegian krones with you if you want to deal in cash. Card payment is most welcome.
3. Doing a cruise journey while communicating between any of the above countries is a lifetime experience. I had two cruise journeys with my family from Copenhagen to Oslo and another from Stockholm to Helsinki.
4. Train journey through Flam rail is a must thing to do.
5. People living there are family bound and very cooperative and will try to help you if you need even though their languages are different. The people over there understand English. So language is not a barrier.
6. People over there has awareness for environment and cleanliness. Their behaviour is cool and satisfied.
7. Trekking in the mountains is there favourite pastime.
