Tough times for Spartan and all across the adventure sailing charter industry have led me to realize that it’s time to knuckle down with the social media content or risk losing my opportunity to share anything worthwhile at all in the future- compounding debts and responsibilities need to be addressed and ‘hoping’ business will pick up is just not going to cut it any more.

So! To try to manufacture a success out of near failure I am kicking off the channel again with a solo sail in our 85ft maxi ‘Osprey’ from Southampton in the Uk, to Reykjavik, Iceland. 1250Nm of what should be very exciting sailing! You’re invited!

First though, we need to get the boat ready to go and that means continuing down the job list and making sure we have appealed the sea gods once more that we deserve a smooth passage.
