Sandnes' green lung extends 3.5 km along the Storånå watercourse from the center of Sandnes to Stokkalandsvatnet in Ganddal. Sand volleyball court, playground, and idyllic picnic areas can be found here. In the park is Skeianetunet with three houses that are today protected. The round around Stokkalandsvatnet is around four km. The landscape is varied and characterized by pastures, heather moors, and woodlands. A lot of roof pipes grow in Stokkalandsvatnet.
