Ten Day Forecast: Warmer And Drier For Early October?

Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days for this video. Day ten will take us to the second of October - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks)

High pressure has taken back control of the weather and will dominate for much of the next few days. The end of the week will see a change as a cold front pushes southwards taking wet weather with it. This will set us up for an unsettled final week of September with low pressure bringing northerly winds and heavy rain at times - Still looking Cool and wet for the end of September and autumn descending with northerly winds next week. However the long term trend could see a return to high pressure for the first week of October - Maybe turning warmer and drier for early October?
