Around 45min away from Stavanger, The Bolder lodges sit high above the Lysefjord, one of Norway's most spectacular fjords. The view from up there is just amazing! During my visit, it was mainly raining and so the view probably not the best, but definitely mystic! And I’m sure, if you stay here for a full day or even longer, you will be busy with taking photos, when the mood and thus the view changes all the time. I only stayed for a “day visit” to film and couldn’t get enough of this incredible view!

The Bolder offers three different sizes of lodges, with the Grand Lodge being the biggest one, shown here, the medium sized Star Lodges, and the smallest ones the Sky Lodges.

The Grand Lodge offers two floors, with the main floor primarily for the day and the lower floor for the night.
The main floor offers a beautiful and spacious designer kitchen, a roomy lounge and dining area for up to 12 guests, a terrace on one side of the lodge and maybe the best thing, the breathtaking panoramic views of the Lysefjord. You also find a bathroom on the main floor and if needed, you can convert part of the lounge into a double bed.

The lower floor offers two bedrooms and another bathroom.

If you are a group of four or more, this is definitely an amazing place to stay at!
