The Eiganestunnel - is a 3700 meter long motorway tunnel on Europavei 39 between Våland colony garden and Tasta in Stavanger in Rogaland. Construction started in February 2014. The Ryfylket tunnel - is an underwater tunnel on national highway 13 between Nord-Jæren and Ryfylke under the Horgefjord in Rogaland. The tunnel is part of the Ryfast project. It is 14.4 km long and is the world's longest and deepest subsea road tunnel until the Boknafjord Tunnel opens no earlier than 2029.

The tunnel is designed for 10,000 vehicles per day and is built with two races and four fields. The estuary on the Ryfylke side is about 1 km north of Solbakk in Strand municipality. On the "city side", the Ryfylketunnel comes up today at Hundvåg in Stavanger municipality. Construction began in 2013 and the tunnel opened on December 30, 2019. A half marathon was held in the tunnel on October 5, 2019.

The use of the tunnel will cost NOK 140 in tolls for vehicles in tariff group 1 (light vehicles) from when toll collection starts in 2020, zero emission vehicles will pay NOK 56. Rate group 2 must pay NOK 420.
