Wanting to hike up to Preikestolen / Pulpit Rock?
Check out this video to get an idea of how challenging the hike is, how long it will take and what is up the top.

First tip: If it's foggy, wait!!! We sat down and had lunch and within 40 minutes it went from thick fog to a beautiful view.
Step 1: Catch the ferry from Stavanger - it takes around 35 minutes. BUY TICKETS ON BOARD.
Step 2: The buses to Pulpit Rock / Preikestolen will be there waiting for you. Don't worry, you can pay on board. Many people had prepaid tickets though.
Step 3: Go to the bathrooms at the bottom of the walk because they're the last ones that you're going to see.
Step 4: Start your hike! The walk up to Pulpit Rock / Preikestolen (low-medium fitness) took us about 1 hour, 45 minutes to get up and 1 hour 15 minutes to get down.
