It's an unparalleled experience, cooking in a cabin, at the among Norway's jaw-dropping fjords.

We found ourselves over 1000 metres above sea level at a small wooden cabin. We were not sure what to expect: but it had checked off the boxes in the hunt for a place to stay: bed and kitchen. We got exactly that, and in some cases, a whole lot less! But the opportunity was well worth the cost. Staying there again, or in a similar situation... Highly recommended. A truly unique Airbnb experience!

This was probably one of the most challenging Air B'n'Feast experiences I've had so far. Some small quirks that weren't in the video:

- The toilet was a long drop, stationed about 20 metres from the cabin, with a particularly aggressive sheep between me and chilly relief.
- No running water inside the house - dishes time was just... fabulous.
- 1st gear up 4.8 kilometers of steep incline. Most of my petrol was burned there.
- SO QUIET: on the roads, in the towns... it felt basically empty. Though, I suppose being the weekend everyone was either tucked away... or things are just quiet in the countryside.
- Rapidly changing weather: from sun, to rain, to howling wind - only competition to this evolving weather is New Zealand.
- Crazy sore shoulders after a days of driving through winding roads
- Everyone is SO friendly

So we hit up the Kiwi supermarket, went hunting for supplies (supermarket due to timing, but a market would've been GREAT) - and tapped into some local flavours, aniseed, dill, licorice, salmon... which became our fuel to explore the vastness and grandeur of Norway. I can only convey so much in writing. It truly is stunning.
