This was our Norway in a Nutshell excursion! Usually traveling is for the purpose of getting to a destination, but in this case traveling was part of the destination. Along our several day journey from Oslo to Bergen we enjoyed some of the most beautiful train and bus rides in the world, and the amazing ferry ride through the Aurlandsfjord!

Here’s our journey:
Day 1-2: Stayed in downtown Oslo
- Viking Ship Museum
- Sculpture Park
- Oslo Opera House
- Magic Ice Bar
- lots of hot dogs (Norway’s staple food)
Day 3: train ride to Flam railway, Aurlandsfjord ferry, overnight stay in Gudvangen
Day 4: bus ride, Voss stopover, train to Bergen
Day 5: Stayed in downtown Bergen
- Walked the beautiful streets and hills
- Apollon Platebar
Day 6: traveled back to Oslo
