Captured here are a variety of police vehicles in the Norwegian capital city of Oslo. All these vehicles are part of the 'Oslo Police District', which is the largest civilian police district in Norway, responsible for Oslo itself as well as two other neighboring districts. Collectively, the police department serves over 800,000 people and operates 7 police stations. In the video, you will also see a speedboat of the Oslo harbor police as well as horses of the mounted police unit. Police responses with lights and sirens are relatively rare in Norway, as the country is considered to be one of the safest in the world, with overall low crime rates and even lower amounts of violent crime.
