You think that Northern Norway in winter is a beautiful landscape with stunning Northern Lights at night? Watch this morning run before you book your trip to Northern Norway and Tromsø city during winter! This is a recording from a day with awful amounts of rain in the air and ice on the ground. Without spikes on your shoes you will have a hard time walking safely and without Gore-Tex clothes you will end up wet and cold. And it will be dark most of the time. So do your self a favour - book your trip to Northern Finland or Kirkenes instead and enjoy better weather in winter. Tromsø on a rainy day in December is definitely on the list of places to avoid.

This kind of weather is caused by warm wet air coming from the South and you never know when it will happen. You might end up with crisp clear air and a beautiful view (check out my other videos) to remember for life, but you might also end up with an expensive miserable experience.

At 2.30 the landmark "Ishavskatedralen (Arctic Cathedral)" is visible on the left side. Some people are amazed visiting it - others think it is a tourist trap.

At the end of the video I am running on the Tromsøbrua (Tromsø bridge) connecting the mainland with Tromsø island.
