Planespotting Ramstein | C-5 & 747 RushHour, C-130 Training, KC-10, C-17... Landing & Take-Off

Dear friends,

this video was recorded at Ramstein Air Base. There was much C-5, C-17, C-130 and 747 traffic during the last days - also some other planes as you can see. We had great light in the evening and tried to use different positions. It's not easy in Ramstein because the military planes don't care about wind sometimes and it's unclear which direction will be used.

Some of my personal highlights:

- National 747 landing in good light conditions
- USAF C-5 landing in the evening with sunlight from behind - it was like a black shadow coming over you. Watch the nose - it was hardly damaged by bird strike, hail or someting like this...
- USAF C-5 departure to Bagram in perfect evening light (thumbnail)
- USAF C-17 landing in the evening sunlight
- All USAF C-130 performing their touch and go and low passes (gears in/out)
